The cost of an outdoor kitchen on the Costa del Sol depends on its size and layout, the worktops and cladding, the appliances, the gas, water and power connections, and any pergola or shade. What drives the price
Two kitchens of the same length can differ a lot in price. These are the reasons.
A straight run costs less than an L-shape or an island with bar seating.
Sintered stone, natural stone or ceramic cladding each have their own price per metre.
The grill, oven, fridge and sink are often the largest single part of the price.
Gas, water and power: how far the nearest points are, and whether new lines are needed.
A bioclimatic pergola over the kitchen is a project of its own and changes the total.
Stairs, lifts and narrow paths affect how the kitchen is delivered and installed.
Honest advice
A good grill, a sink and a fridge cover most cooking. An oven or a second grill can be added later if the layout leaves room.
Worktops that face the afternoon sun need to handle heat and UV. A cheaper top that fades or cracks costs more in two summers.
Run gas, water and power for everything you might add later now, while the kitchen is being built.
